About Wasfia Nazreen
I sold what I owned to start the Bangladesh on7 campaign, dedicating a climb of every continent's highest peak to the women of my country's independence generation. It took years, ended on Denali, and made me the first Bangladeshi to finish the Seven Summits. National Geographic called it adventure; I mostly remember the fundraising and the paperwork. My work now runs through indigenous rights and climate storytelling, and high, cold places still clarify things for me.
