About this experience
Guests arrive at a converted warehouse outside central Ghent in the early evening, where a full KNTXT rig is set up and the room is otherwise empty. The first hour goes to sound: how a system is tuned for a room this size, what a kick actually does at volume, and why certain records only make sense on a large rig. De Witte then opens her selection process, playing unreleased and unsigned material and explaining what is kept, what is edited and what is refused. Guests take the booth in turn to try a transition on the club system with the room listening and the monitors up. The night ends with a closed ninety-minute set played to fewer than a dozen people, followed by food in the loading bay.
