Back in Birmingham for a few days between studio blocks. I like the gap week. You get to sit still, watch the tapes back, and work out which bits landed and which ones I talked over. The tent teaches you patience. The sofa teaches you speed. Different muscles, same job.

The gap week is underrated. Everyone books straight through it and then wonders why the energy drops.
Watching tapes back is the whole job. Half my notes come from bits nobody flagged on the day.
Which studio are you in for the next block? Trying to work out crew overlap.
Tent pace and sofa pace really are two different sports.
