Home in Rome for ten days between assignments, which mostly means editing. Four thousand frames down to about sixty, and the sixty are still too many. I work on a small screen deliberately. If a picture only holds up at full size, it is not holding up.

Sixty is an edit for a book, not for a story. Cut it in half again.
Small screen discipline is right. I started printing contact sheets for the same reason.
How long do you leave an edit before going back to it? I never manage a full week.
