Guests arrive at a screening room on a working lot for a drinks reception in the lobby, where clips submitted in advance have been cut into a running order. The host opens from the stage, sets the categories for the night and runs the room like a taping: clips play in blocks, the audience scores them by raised card, and short interviews between rounds bring up whoever shot the winning footage. Two rounds in, a break returns everyone to the lobby for supper, then the final block runs down to a top three and a prize handed out on stage. The evening ends with a question round on studio hosting, reading a room and holding a live audience, followed by photographs on the stage.
